NEW YEAR NEW YOU!
We’ve heard it before time after time, that the New Year brings in a “New You”
Half way through January roles around, and we found ourselves discouraged vs encouraged to continue working towards our goals.
This year, we encourage you to apply these 3 simple principles to your “New Year New You” resolutions.
1. Set goals that align with your core values
Too often we set goals that don’t align with us or our life. Hence why you must ensure your goals are set up wisely!
Are your goals something you are passionate about?
Are you willing to prioritize what you need to do to achieve said goals?
Are you looking at your goals and putting into perspective the time it may take to achieve it?
Are you being honest with yourself in regards to the time frame you are giving yourself to achieve your goals?
When you choosing your goals remember to take into factor the above, you deserve to be successful!
2. Identify and visualize your goals
Alright, now you’ve taken a look at your goals and you know what they are! But now what? What’s next?
It’s time to identify the next steps you need to take & start visualizing your success!
But how do you go about that?
Start by simply writing our your goals, in simple form. What would it feel like if you accomplished said goals? What would it look like? What would it feel like?
From there to help visualize your goals, post them somewhere you see daily! By the coffee machine, by your tooth brush, by your phone charge. Some place that every day, first thing in the morning you SEE.
Having a daily reminder of your goals will help keep you accountable in regards to accomplishing them!
3. Reward yourself for your small wins
Instead of beating yourself down for not progressing as “quickly” as you were hoping, CELEBRATE!
You only lost 5 lbs this month, THAT’S INCREDIBLE!
Your hard work is paying off, so celebrate with your support system in a wholesome positive safe manner :).
Any win should be celebrated!
You lost 5 lbs in this month ALONE!
No matter what, you should be celebrating your wins! You put in the time, you put in the effort and you are giving it your all!
Be kind to yourself, and remember no one is perfect! We are going to have good days and bad days, but the good days are the ones you need to focus on!
