Hey there! I’m Ramtin, and my fitness journey started 15 years ago, fueled by a deep passion for training and well-being. Over the years, I’ve honed my expertise in physical conditioning through a blend of hands-on experience and continuous learning.
My athletic roots trace back to competitive soccer and endless hours in the swimming pool, laying the groundwork for my dedication to weight training and overall physical development. Alongside my B.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in robotics and automation, I’ve crafted a unique biomechanical approach to fitness that combines my academic background with my fitness philosophy.
The gym became my sanctuary, where I built not just strength but also confidence. My mission now is to share these empowering tools and experiences gathered over the years with others. I firmly believe in helping individuals uncover their true potential and reach their fitness aspirations.
If you’re ready to embark on a transformative journey towards a healthier you, let’s connect! Reach out, and let’s collaborate to help you become your best self!
My name is Fritz, a personal trainer and group exercise instructor, leading high-energy and engaging classes that foster a sense of community and the joy of shared accomplishment. Certified by both YMCA and Active IQ, UK, I have honed my skills to provide top-notch training tailored to individual needs and group dynamics.
Coming from a fitness management background in the vibrant city of Dubai, I bring a global perspective to my training approach. My journey in the fitness industry has been enriched by collaborations with professional bodybuilders, gaining insights into advanced training techniques and nutritional strategies.
With a keen understanding of diverse fitness levels and goals, I craft personalized workouts that push boundaries and inspire breakthroughs. Whether you’re aiming for strength, weight loss, or overall wellness, my approach ensures a well-rounded and effective fitness experience.
I began a career in construction and civil engineering before transitioning to exercise science and personal training in 2001 after leaving Dubai. Coaching individuals for over 20 years, I am currently completing a degree in psychology with a focus on coaching personal change. A firm believer in the combination of academia and personal practice, I bring a unique, science-based perspective to fitness and personal development.
A former national drug-tested physique champion and trainer of professional athletes, I emphasize fundamental, evidence-backed approaches, steering clear of fleeting fitness trends while maintaining a rigorous personal training regimen – practicing what I preach.
The first questions that I will ask you as a prospective client is:
What is it that you’re looking for? And how can I help you reach that goal?
As a career fitness professional and passionate enthusiast, I’ve extensive experience in exercise and nutrition regarding rehabilitation, athletic performance, and aesthetic change. Feel free to ask me a question about exercise or nutrition anytime😊
Growing up in northern Ontario, I developed a deep passion for sports and performance, leading me to pursue a career in health science. In 2022, I moved to Kelowna to complete my Bachelor of Health and Exercise Science. Now, as a kinesiologist and a medical trainer for the Okanagan Rockets hockey club, I’m dedicated to helping individuals achieve their full potential.
With a background in junior hockey and a more recent transition into golf, I have firsthand experience with the demands of high-performance sports. I also understand the critical role that movement efficiency, injury prevention, and recovery play – not just for athletes but for everyone striving to lead an active, healthy lifestyle.
As a kinesiologist, I’m passionate about working with individuals – whether you’re an athlete returning to play, recovering from an injury, looking to improve performance, returning to work, or enhancing overall fitness. I create personalized, evidence-based programs that address your specific needs, focusing on functional movement assessments, corrective exercises, and strategies to build strength, mobility, and injury resilience.
Let’s work together to help you move better, perform stronger, and confidently take on the demands of daily life.

I’m a tennis nut. 🙂
As a professional tennis coach and seasoned tennis player, I am well positioned to make a unique contribution to traditional coaching and to empower tennis players looking to up their game. Through my experience in tennis and other competitive sports, I use my own methodology and personal approach to help others excel and grow their game.
My coaching experience over the last several years, both in Canada and the US, has stimulated my interest in the science behind the game. I often use video analysis to reinforce what is being taught in order to eliminate the guessing game and speed up the learning process. I believe great tennis begins with technique, and I strive to make it the primary focus of my instruction.
I have recently moved to Kelowna from Toronto, and I am very excited about the opportunity to grow the sport locally and give something to the community.
An all-sport junkie, tennis was not Calvin’s first (or even second) choice to play. Forced to join his sister in a rec centre tennis camp ultimately led to a realization of how much fun the sport actually was.
Calvin is a provincial and national champion in both singles and doubles – multiple times. He was a regular member of Team BC (and the only player from the Okanagan). He was a double gold medalist at the Western Canada Summer Games and part of the top BC doubles team at Nationals. He has been ranked in the top 2 provincially and the top 20 country-wide. Apart from his successful junior career Calvin also played in multiple professional and open draws throughout BC. Having received Division 1 university offers in the USA, Calvin chose instead to remain in Kelowna – his favourite city in the world.
Following a brief hiatus from competitive play after his junior career, Calvin jumped back into tennis with both feet. Seeing the smiling faces of new tennis players every day reignited a fire for tennis that continues to burn brightly. This passion led Calvin down to Los Angeles over the summer to compete in numerous professional and semi-professional events. Training with former ATP pros, discussing tennis with National level coaches and celebrating the best win of his career were all highlights from his adventure. With his eyes set on the lofty goal of professional tennis, expect to see Calvin on court all the time training himself and others.
As a certified club professional coach, Calvin is grateful for the opportunity to pass on his technical skills, deep knowledge of the game and genuine appreciation for the sport to everyone at Global Fitness. He is personally committed to reaching ever higher levels of coaching ability and knowledge – all while keeping tennis the fun and fit sport it was always meant to be.
